Carolyn Prieto graduated from Florida International University in the year 2000 with a Masters in Business (MBA). From a very young age she has held administrative positions, mainly at small businesses throughout South Florida. In 1995, while working at a small office (and inundated with paperwork), she encouraged the owner to invest in one of the earliest versions of QuickBooks software. The main purpose then was just to get all the facets of the business cycle in one place (customers, payroll, receivables, payables, etc). Since then, over 13 years later, she is still a devotee of the software.Currently, she is offering her bookkeeping services and utilizing her extensive knowledge of QuickBooks to assist a variety of small businesses throughout South Florida. She understands that businesses "need to do what they do best" in order to maintain a competitive edge.
If a business' core competency is something other than "waddling in the details," then spending time focusing on administrative minutia is time lost from generating sales and income.
Carolyn offers outsourced bookkeeping services, a prudent option for some businesses who don't want to hire a full-time employee. This in turn, may result in saving a great deal on overhead (payroll, liability, insurance, extra space, etc). This is especially relevant in this uncertain economic climate, where every dollar must be spent wisely in the most cost-efficient manner. Additionally, she assists companies in setting up their company files and offers training to employees on how to use the many functions of QuickBooks.
Carolyn Prieto has always enjoyed working with people. Her earliest formal education was in the field of Psychology and prior to acquiring her MBA, she earned a Masters in Social Work from Barry University. This background has given her an invaluable ability to understand others and work with their different perceptions and personalities.
For her, professionalism is of the utmost importance. By maintaining a superior level of confidentiality and integrity she strives to provide the highest level of service to her clients.
In addition to her professional career, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family. She is also actively involved in her community and is an active member of her church.
